It all began when…
Chief Instructor Dan Carter founded Practice Tai Chi in 2012 in order to share his extensive knowledge and practical experience of the gentle exercise and martial art of Tai Chi Chuan that he has been studying and teaching for 30 years!
Weekly daytime and evening group classes are focussed on health and well-being gained through gentle low-impact exercise – aimed at improving posture, strength, balance, coordination, relaxation and aerobic performance – without risk of injury. There’s a reason the newspapers keep recommending Tai Chi as the best exercise to do as we age!
For the more experienced Tai Chi practictioner – or those that have been with us for some time and are keen to develop further – we offer high quality tuition in a variety of Tai Chi styles as well as Push Hands and Qi Qong.
